make sure he has the low pressure switch plugged in on top of the reciever drier. if it is, check the fuses. they may share a fuse, so read the owners manual. if the connector is plugged in and the fuses are good, jump the LOW side pressure swithc with a paperclip while the care is of with the key on. If you see the compressor clucth engage, then your out of refridgerant or the WOT relay is bad for the A/C. Do not try to jump the connector while the car is running. You still dont know if there is any refrdgerant in the system. if there isnt any, then most likely their wont be any oil in the system either. This will seize up your compressor. You can normall test an A/C system if you know if it has some refriderant in it or you know what the mechanic did. Since you dont, make sure the key is off and go from there.
