friends dont let friends use octane booster on a stock motor. Octane booster is for ricers.

It's actually kind of funny, if you look at the bottle they say "RAISE OCTANE 10 POINTS" and then in fine print at the bottom it reads "1 octane point = .1 octane" so a bottle of that $8 crap raises your octane 1 point. bunch of thieves.

I would agree, your problem does not sound like a "pink or knock"

is the noise sporadic or rhythmic?

and here's the kicker:

does it get worse UNDER LOAD?

simple questions, come on.
