The reason I have tape over my nose is because I am I cheap SOB who won't go to the emergency room. I was drilling a aluminum bracket for the GT. When the drill bit broke through the other side of the metal, it hooked and spun the bracket into my nose. I didn't even know I was bleeding till I noticed my pants were red. I was actully bleeding quite profusley(sp?). I didn't want to go to the ER so I just held pressure on it for a while and then taped it up. It sliced all the way through the skin, it had to be taped up or the wound would open. It was still beeding like 2 hours later.....that's a record for me.
