![]() I am currently doing the same conversion on my '85. There are hardly any differences. I am using the parts from a '95 stang. The main difference is spindles and the front struts. The pre '87 spindles are thicker in the area where they mount to the strut. Many manufactures of struts include shims so that their struts can be used on all year stangs. You can get around this by using washers. If you need any more info just email me.
