All he did (when it was less than a week old) was remove the air silencer, install a K&N air filter and add a set of equal length headers. He couldn't get it to idle until he had the ECM remapped! In your case, if it's bone stock, you might be able to correct the idle but otherwise I think you'll discover that I'm right! Actually, I hope I'm wrong for your sake.
