well they all make noise on deceleration, but mine is louder than normal, like something is wrong, kinda embarrasing when im going through a parking lot, i find myself in 2nd riding the clutch now.
I put it on jack stands today and drove it in 1st gear, the noise is there on accel, but minimal, and much louder on decelleration, in sync with the d/s, it does it with the clutch in when im coasting too, which means the d/s is driving the tranny noise at that point, the clutch does not change it really.......anything else? so noise on deceleration, clutch in or out? does that help anyone determine the problem?
im hoping it isnt a chipped tooth off the 1st gear, or countershaft(this is what i read in my manual it could be)......thanx

if i have to pull it apart, i can kiss my intake goodbye for now, i did however get my new 190glp pump in friday.
