How many miles on your car? Is it past the warranty period? Have you tried taking it to a Ford dealer to ask them about the problem?
Have you tried using a stethiscope or similar device to check where the knock or ping is coming from? Have you tried running a thinner grade of oil? Higher grade of fuel? Have you had the engine flushed? |
