The line is just run next to the tank, under the filler neck up the rails. I am using -10an all the way up to the reg, and an -8an return line. I used a 90 deg fitting on the return (which dumps where the old lines went into the top of the tank). That uses a 5/8" fuel line, 1/2" return.
Save a bunch of money - use only 2 foot of stainless braided on the first few feet at the tank, regulator, and carb. Use aluminum line for the length of the car. Fittings are cheaper than ss braided line.
