is it a fitting or just a hose nipple?? probly just a hose nipple and that where you would hook the vacuum line from your old regulator. To adjust right in middle there will be an allen wrench fitting and a lock nut. You loosen lock nut with a deep socket and then can adjust it. need to have a gauge other wise you won't know which way your adjusting or how much.
