I had the 550 installed at circuit city for around $400. That included a couple extras though. I believe the system itself was around $300 installed. Keep in mind you have to have an automatic transmission for remote start. The alarm system without remote start is a little cheaper.
As far as the gps tracking system, the website says it will work with any "ESP2". I didn't look around to much, but most of the systems that I saw are just "ESP". I have no clue the the 2 means. Here is the website if you want to look further into it. http://www.directed.com
