Check your compression...sounds like you have some blow-by. The intense pressure from combustion is pushing hot gasses past the rings.
In the meantime be very careful of running out of oil. My Mom's Volkswagen had a cylinder seize and the rod smacked a 3-4 inch hole in the side of the block. |
