I paid 850 for a STOCK REBUILD... remove and replace the tranny..... I'm sure for 1000 bucks or even 1500 or whatever you can rebuild your unit with all sorts of goodies... take it to a good tranny place and see what they say, hardly seems worth buying a whole new transmision. cause you'll pay someone do remove and install the new tranny eitherway
