![]() whether you choose larger anti-roll bars or stiffer springs and shocks will depend on your suspension philosophy. i follow bmw's philosophy that softer springs and stiffer anti-roll bars are the best way to go as you get better traction on a bumpy surface because the tires stay on the ground, and you use the anti-roll bars to control body roll. that said, i have seen equally competitive setups with stiff springs and shocks, and the suspension tuned to the track with anti-roll bars. one philosophy is no more right or wrong than the other, and that is proven by race results. ultimately it is your choice. mercedes uses the opposite philosophy to bmw's and they are equally good handling cars, but the bmw's ride better, and yes i have been in both cars.
