Find a book with a wiring diagram to start out. You will need a heavy guage wire, a relay ( I believe the factory ones have a timer, because the defrost will shut off automatically after a while to prevent the wires from burning out.), and a switch. Some of those thing may be in the car from the factory, you will have to check it out.
