Nixon- ECT = Engine Coolant Temp sensor
Mountain Main- Check and see what your TPS reads at idle, engine off, key on, by back probing the Black and Green wires, with the TPS connected. It should be less than 1 volt, but I suspect it will be closer to 5 volts. Then see what it reads at WOT, and note how smooth the transition is between the two as you slowly open the throttle. If you have a DMM with a bargraph, use it to watch the transition. It's much easier to view the bargraph than to accurately read the changing numbers. Post your results. Both of you: TURNING OVER is accomplished by the starter, regardless of whether or not it starts. FIRING is what happens when everything works properly, and it starts. ![]() Take care, ~Chris
