Fill the car up with oil until it starts to overflow out of the valve cover then it should be just fine. j/k
 Dude, I'd advise you to stay clear of those people  who told you to put all that oil in your car, b/c either they know nothing about cars or they are trying to make you screw up yours. What do they think you're running, a Greyhound bus?5 qts. No more no less (whether V8 or V6). Use the Motorcraft FL-1A oil filter. Don't mess with Fram. Just stick with Motorcraft and you'll be fine.
