![]() To know if your pinion will work with the 3.73 ring, find out how many teeth your pinion has (I don't know off the top of my head). Then count the number of teeth on the ring. Divide the number of teeth on the ring by the number of teeth on your pinion and you should get 3.73. If you don't, then your pinion won't work with the gear.
However, I would not buy a ring and pinion seperately. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't buy a used ring and pinion unless I knew for sure it was a matched set because of the different wear patterns. If you do, then you will end up with lots of extra shavings in your rearend and the ring and pinion will wear out prematurely. |
