wow sucks for that guy... tryin to show off to his buddy too, how embarassing .... i was wondering though, is it possible to do this in my 97? i havent had my car long yet, and i have "missed" a gear once, but it wouldnt even let me into the wrong gear, it just made the grinding sound and then i shifted normally. it definitely didnt feel like it would even go in, at least not nearly as smooth as when you are hitting a gear you can go into. i was under the impression it was on lockout or something due to the rpm/speed. so does this mean that if i were to really jam it hard it would go into it and overrev? how bad is this griding sound if it only happens once in a while? (im not perfect yet )
