im guessing you talking about the pickup hitting the pan right? im building a 331 stroker with a melling pump. When i tried to install the pan it hit the bottom of the pickup screen so i had to clearance the pan and the screen a little. Not that much of a big deal. Use a rubber mallet and clearance the pan from the inside out and try to slightly bend the pickup upwards towards the crank. just be careful not to break anything. Hope this helps
