what do you mean what trans. do you have? You want to know weather it is a c3 or c5? Where did you find those numbers? Is that the stock trans? The tag should be attached to the lower servo cover bolt. It tells you the model code, assembly part number, and build date. The E2 sounds right but 67 doesnt. E means the era it was built in which is the 80's. The 2 means what year which would be 82. The third digit should be a Z for mustang and not 6. The fourth should be P and not 7 which means transmission and chassis division, automatic transmission. Double check the number on the tag.
