I think you're headed for trouble with the computer if you go any lower than a 180 deg thermostat. The car won't warm up properly and the computer will spend too much time in open loop, wasting fuel and hurting performance.
If you want to keep your car running cooler, make sure you flush your cooling system, replace it with fresh coolant, a mix of 30% coolant and 70% distilled water. Also add some water wetter. Make sure the fins in your rad aren't all buggered up too. |
