If you're planning on getting an interior from a newer mustang, be careful, they're not entirely the same. I put an interior from a '93 lx into my '89 coupe & it doesn't match completely. They major ploblems are: the fuse panel doesn't attach from the back, so you might have to do some cutting, mine is just hanging there, the '93 had an air bag & the 89 doesn't, so the cover underneath the steering wheel is different, just make sure you get that piece, the temperature controls have a different bolt-on pattern, so you probably have to re-drill some holes. All I can say is, after going through the trouble of taking out the old one & putting in the new one, I'm going to paint the old one & do it all over again. My advice is, just take yours out & paint. It'll save you some money, you just need time & paint. Hope this helped you a little.
