Please dont tell me that a v6 mustang will beat a ls1 camaro and all that stuff. we all know that the only way that would happen is if that little blue oval turend into a jet engine. i really want to know becasue this effects my near future. thanks
If you are buying a new car, I personally feel you should look at what is an overall better car, since it is a major investment. Cameros have a tendency to "loosen up" a bit on the interior. The seats are some of the most uncomfortable I have ever been in. It feels like you are sitting on the floor board, and if you ever have to ride in the passenger seat, you'll hate yourself for buying the camero. Changing the plugs is a major task. I have a friend who owns a 2001 SS, and he took it to a few shops before he could find anyone to even do it. Then when he did, it was for like $400. He finally found someone to do it for $200, FOR A PLUG CHANGE!!!!! The car is only 2 years old, and rattles as much as my 13 year old stang. On the inside and outside. One up side is, he put a chip in it, put the other plugs in, gutted his cats, and ran a dump before his muffler and he runs 12.5's all day on street tires. If all you are looking at is speed, sure get the camero. But, if you want a car that will hold value and not fall apart prematurely, get a stang. You could get an '03 cobra for the price of an SS, and run circles around an ls1 all day. The choice is ultimately yours.

And I dont think anyone here is dumb enough to even begin to utter the words that a (stock) v6 will beat an ls1. Most, if not all, people here are very knowledgeable of our stallions, and to make a comment like that is almost insulting. On a lighter note, welcome to MW!!
