![]() Last time I messed with a speed density was back in the early 90s. It was a freinds car and we got it into the low 12s with a little gas. We stayed with the stock cam and 1.7 rockers. even then the idle wasn't real steady. Car Craft put a 5.0 together with AFR 165s and stock cam w/1.7s and made 400 horse (it had a carb though). I was looking through Comp Cams and they have a couple of extrmes with 114 centerline, should idle decent, but may cause you trouble with lift.512. SF&5.0 mag did head test with this cam this month and made like 375 horse with canfields. But they had notched pistons. Hope this helps
