Buddy Rawls recommends that XE270 cam for a stock motor with no more than exhaust mods - which would match well if you work the E7 exhaust ports. The Ford head is both intake and exhaust restricted but more so on the intake side than exhaust, IMHO.

pedley - you miss read my post. re-read that and "can" means capable of. Not a can.
