which headers are you running ?
the header flange is threaded ?
normally the bolts pass throught the header flange and your secure them with a nut or the studs are pressed into the header flange , I have had to use smaller bolts and havent had a problem , or you can just use a longer bolt and put a nut onto it . or if you are unable to tap the flange braze a nut with the proper thread onto the flange.

your talking about the header flange to h-pipe bolts right ?
