![]() On the newer style mustangs like 94 and newer ford used a wound clock spring in behind the airbad itself. This spring is really thin,flat and fragile, some times these springs break and connection to airbag is lost. So it sets the light off and it will stay on till this spring is replaced.But let a tech do this procedure as the airbag can still go off. You do not want that to happen.
