![]() Without a doubt... the 28x10.5 is too much tire unless you have well over 600HP
For example, the NMRA R/S cars are limited to 26x10 slicks and the majority of the class runs in the mid-low 10 sec range (a few guys recently entered the 9's). In contrast, the NMRA Renegade cars are limited to 28x10.5 slicks... with most of the class running in the low 9 sec zone, with one guy in particular (that I know of) going high 8's. You may even want to consider the next size down (26x8.5???). What width is your rim?? Alot of guys are running a 9 or 10" rim with the 26x10's to maximize the footprint. I use a 15x10 Bogart with my 28x10.5's. The 28" tall tire would kill off alot of your gear too. I would go with a M/T 26x8.5 slick for your combo... |
