Yup, I've got 72,000 miles on my 95, and no problems (related to K&N ). If you are getting that much dirt, I'd also make sure that the system is sealed properly, make sure you've got enough oil to trap small particles (but not too much to damage the MAF!!).

K&N filters have been around for years, if there was a problem, IMO it would already have showed it self. But some of these cold air kits could be a different story.
