if you seen my other post, i have LOTS of play in my steering, but that is a bad inner tie rod, i was ready to get a manual rack if it neede replacement, i was also going to order a flaming river shaft only, and use an autozone rack, but i need to do this cheap, so im replaqcing tie rods.
the universal rag joint i heard can be oredered from the dealer, but also read an old post about them being discontinued, but im not sure if thats correct....
about your cable, my d&d cable snapped too, i went back with a stock one and it has worked better than any other's i used.
