Stumbling over 4000

I had a similar problem with my car. Loss of power above 4000 rpm's turned into stubling and bucking and just plain heartache when driving the car. The longer i put up with it the worse it got. I replaced almost all of the sensors for the FI and it turned out to be the mass air meter. The minute I put the new one in my car came back to life, never been happier. Thanks for chiming in. I forgot to mention, though, a friend of mine let me use his MAF and the car did the same thing. Now, it is possible (highly unlikely, though) that his was bad too, but he said it worked fine in the car it use to be in.
Mmmm. I never have weird, hard-to-trace problems like this in my '79...
