Sky, the only way you are going to get to the bottom of this is to get a copy of her insurance policy and take it to a lawyer. Most lawyers around here will see you the first time for free, just to see if you have a case... blood thirsty bastards! These guys can tell you in about 2 minutes if you have a case. I don't know what the laws are there, they vary so much from state to state, but.. If you do have a case then you can just call the insurance company and tell them you spoke with a lawyer, it makes a difference. If you have a case the insurance company don't want you to know that but if you already know you do then they will negotiate. Good luck brother..
