Cool Not too Happy, Coil over ?

I finally got the K member in the car and the A-arms and coil overs on. The springs were wrong, so I had to wait on more. The ones I have now are good.

I have the ride hight were it was before, but like this, it don't stand up in the front like it used to. If I adjust it down low so that it gets more travel on the struts, then it is too low in the front. What do I do from here, I want to go wed night, but I am not to thrilled.

What kind of caster/camber plates are you using. If you the spacers that come with most of them you need space up the plates that will give you more travel on the struts

What spring rates are you using? When switching to coilovers you need a different spring rate from stock to maintain the same wheel rate.

Maximum Motorsports website has a good explanation of wheel rate vs spring rate at the stock and coilover locations.

Good luck,

I think 125 is not enough. MM offers rates from 200-550 lb/in, so I would think 200 is the minimum you should get for a coilover setup.

Good luck,

Cool

The new ones hold the car up better, but on the street with the radials it does not leave as hard as it used too. Last night I put the 28" ET Streets on it and it stood strait up and did not spin with a 3500rpm launch. I would have gone to the track last night but I left my coil wire at work, and the one on the car is shot. It makes the car pop and miss.
