I also hooked a mech gauge up to check. I have 2 schrader valves, on behind the alt and one by the regulator. And when I set it at 36-38psi on the mech gauge I was getting about 35-37psi on the electric, with vac off..When I put vac back on they both drop some like to 30 on the electric and 32 on the mech..
Only thing is I can't watch the mech gauge when driving, this is one I bought from the parts store and mounts to the schrader valve with about a 1ft long hose. But when I get on it the psi drops to abotu 22-24 on the electric gauge. You think, running 30# and 255 HP in tank, have something to do with it. Since the injectors deliver more fuel, would the volume be there but not the pressure??????? ![]()
