I been through 4 T-5s in the last year and a 3550. I'm with you T-5's suck if you have any power under the hood. I think the Art Carr AOD is a good idea. I had a Art Carr 200R4 in my Grand National and it was great. my grand national ran low 11's and I never had any problems with it. Since I got my mustang I can't find a good 5 speed. I'm going to send one to G-Force and let them rebuild it I hear they are very tough. You can also get a X2C Modified tremec I hear they are extremly tough as well.
