Actually an out of the box set of 165's don't outflow TFS heads...they are similar. You can use the "bigger valve in the TFS head" argument but I don't buy it, you can run cams just as large with the rotated valve placement of the TFS. A good port job on the TFS heads will put them WAY outflowing even AFR 205's. AFR's also have an equally crappy valvetrain (particularly springs) unless you pay for an upgrade.
However with that being said, I would never consider either head "junk", they are both great just in different respects.
