You can take off the IAC valve and clean it out with carburetor cleaner (let it soak for 10-15 minutes) and use a pick or something to manually move the internal valve to make sure it moves freely. IAC valves getting carboned up are quite common. If the throttle is sticking, manually moving it by hand at the linkage on the body you will be able to feel it stick, which you could also try cleaning out just for giggles (they're teflon coated so ford doesn't recommend cleaning because it ruins the coating....but if the coating worked they're wouldn't be any carbon on it
)
