just needs a little time man, i dunno why, but the shifter is really tough when the cars are new. Just make sure u get it in the gear before letting off the clutch, i also have an 03 gt and ive probably grinded off a little of every gear trying to race the car before the shifter was broken in. Anyways by the time u hit 2500 miles, ull be shifting fine, unless you live in cold weather, then ull have to wait till it warms up. I think im right around 3000 now and shifting smooth, its not as somooth as butter, but i dont grind anymore and i can shift fast enough to chirp the tires without power shifting. Just give it some time man, and break it in right.
