You can go about making 393s a number of ways.
-1st you can use a stroker crank from Scat, FRPP, or Summit, these are cast cranks with 3.85 stroke that use stock 351W connecting rods and 302 style pistons. These make for a good NA bottom end. -2nd you can buy a complete kit from an aftermarket company like Probe, FRPP, Scat and many more. These kits come with all parts including rings, bearings and most other parts. I would use a 351W based stroker due to the fact that a stock 351W block can hanble upwards to 700hp. I have built a few 393s using the Scat cranks, stock rods and have guys pounding 600hp with no problems.
