I would say way to go! Modding these cars is half the fun. I'm planning on spending $15k+ in the next 6 or 7 years on my 89 and I don't think twice about it. I guess to each his own. I know if I bought a new Mustang, I could never keep it bone stock. I'd start sinking money into it sooner or later.
