![]() The bolt that the door attaches to (striker bolt?) has a plastic ring around it that wears out, cracks, and falls off after a long time. This decreases the outside diameter of the bolt by enough to cause a rattle. Happend to me. Its super easy and cheap to replace. All you need to buy is the right socket to get it out. It's one of those asterisk shaped sockets.
