Classic EFI or Carb debate

carb spacer and a K&N
Crane cam (not sure of specs, around 270 lift)

8" Rear, pegleg, w/ 3.73's...

I'm almost positive that I'm gonna spool the rear, but thats as far as I've made it...

I'm also pretty sure that I'm gonna talk bo55 into porting the heads

But I'm debating between piecing together an EFI ( could get almost all the parts from friends)

Or a new Edlebrock carb w/ elec. choke..

What do ya'll think?

In my opinion a carb. w/ electric choke and vac. seconderys would be the way to go and the easy way out. As goes for putting an EFI on it, its a bit of a task, and I would not to do it at this point, but thats me. You also mentioned a "spool" for the rear end?? That is not something I would put on a car that will see any sort of street driving. First time you are in a parking lot and make a sharp turn, boom, there goes one of the axles. Just get a nice posi unit instead, like a Detriot Locker or Auburn.
