We have MAC 1-5/8" long-tubes on our 88GT. Have a complete MAC setup, sounds great. We've got a problem where one of the tubes on drivers side rubs the steering linkage. We contacted MAC - they said to install new motor mounts. We installed Energy mounts, and we've still got the rubbing.
If you can spring for it, get them JetHot coated! Our headers are rusting after about 2-years. JetHot will keep the headers looking nice and the coating also reduces heat under the hood. |
