I had a fabricator build it to fit....kinda. He made the sump part a little too wide and I had to cut out more than I wanted to. I am having the fabricator tin over the bottom (with aluminum) where the tank sticks down. That should clean it up and provide an extra skid plate.
 As for safety...it is aluminum, so no sparks when crushed. There is also a fire wall so hopefully I don't become a human shish-kabob on the steering wheel should there be a fire. Fire wall and tank cost 650. They installed the fire wall and I installed the tank. Mike
