i had several VW's back in the day and seemed like the harder you ran them the better service you got. i think this was because they were air cooled thus the harder you ran them the cooler they ran. had several that i cut down like a baja and put headers on them. they would really go in the mud with the right tires. had loads of fun in 'em. i always like the dual port motors because of the "big horsepower" every bit of 60 hp. lol
