![]() Get the one with the shims. You will use the spacer, and then add shims until you get the right preload. If you get the one without the shims you will have to machine the spacer to the right thickness. The main advantage is not having use a huge breaker bar to crush the sleeve in order to get the right preload. I had to use a solid spacer on mine. As hard as I was hitting it, the crush sleeve was wasnt holding.
