Did you have to mill the intake and port your heads to accept the Vic 5.0?

I've got AFR 185cc heads and stopped down at the engine shop the other day. The builder shined a flashlight down into the runners. It was interesting to say the least. The heads had a set of 1262 gaskets on them and I could see the silicon bead along the roof of the intake. So the lower needs to be milled about 80 thousandths and the roof of the intake runner needs to be squared off and blended back into the port
