GREAT idea!!!
cut the silencer right before it starts it's big u-turn... that way you lose the bend and air restriction but it still sticks slightly into the fenderwell for the "cold air" aspect of the intake. WOW.. learn something new everyday! I will be doing that tomorrow! Thanks!
