Yeah it will have no problems with the T5 or a auto if you ever switch.
The rev limiter is a feature that cuts the spark to cylinders in a alternate pattern (to prevent gas building up in the chamber it basicly fires the odds then the evens) by doing this it stops the motor from reving. So if you set it at 5,000 rpms you can floor it in neutral and it will rev to 5,000 then stop. This prevents damage to your motor if you miss a gear or something. It becomes really important as the power levels go up. |
