Oh boo hoo. Come on dude, it's not that big of a deal. So the converter locks up in 3rd & 4th. Welcome to every mustang since the 1980's. I've never noticed a problem with my friends 00 GT vert.
But yes yes, I highly suggest disableing the lock up. And now they make a carb'ed intake for the mod motor. All you need to find now is someone to makes a kit to convert it back to points. -Josh, aka the tireburner
